If this were a normal post of mine, you'd be seeing an excuse right now.
Then all the reasons why this excuse was valid.
Then a want-to to do better.
Then, it would be over.
But I'm really tired of those posts. Over and over again, they just keep coming.
It is true, I want to write more. I want to share more of my work, I love my space here.
And I am busy, but I know that I can post when I do have time. I can make time for it.
So I believe that this post has turned into a "goodbye" and a "hello".
I will post my last May photos for my challenge (ha, how is that even a thing?)
Then I will be changing the design (as DIY was never really my thing), making it simpler, less to worry about.
Then I will be posting small bits, mostly. Small writings.
I've found that when I said I could never be an author after attempting to write novels, I was shutting a door. Completely slamming it shut.
Thank goodness God didn't want that. I've found that I do love writing.
Small, inspiring pieces. Encouragement and beauty. That's what I like writing. And I can't wait to share more with you all.
This post was originally going to be my 4th of July post, then my May photos post, then an excuse, then on the topic of conversation starters, and how they've turned into something entirely different.
But instead, it turned into this.

  1. I can never ever follow a blogging schedule or anything so I feel you on this one! I'm excited to see more from you but don't pressure yourself either. I think this is the right move for your journey! X

    1. Thank you so much for saying this, Anna. It's helping me put everything into perspective.

  2. I can't wait to see everything that comes from this decision! And I totally feel you on the excuse posts, I'm tired of writing them as well, and have decided that I'll just post what I want, when I want, and hopefully people will enjoy it ;)
